School Council Update 27/02/15

World Book Day is fast approaching!!    We will be celebrating the event on March 5th by dressing up as our favourite book character and bringing in a donation.  We have also launched the Extreme Reading Photo competition.  We ask to capture, in a photograph, the most extreme place and way of reading imaginable.  Please remember to stay safe!  All monies raised will be used to provide books for disadvantaged  schools across the world.

In school council assembly this week we voted for the most popular method of celebrating Red Nose Day.  The majority of the vote (43 votes) was to wear your pyjamas for the day and bring in a donation.  Red noses are on order and we will be selling them for £1 each leading up to the day. (March 13th)

Please remember to collect those Sainsbury vouchers and deposit them in the box in the office.

We look forward to seeing all of your favourite book characters on Thursday!

This week we have been talking about World Book Day.  We will be celebrating the event on March 5th by dressing up as our favourite book character and bringing in a donation.  We have also launched the Extreme Reading Photo competition.  We ask to capture in a photograph the most extreme place and way of reading imaginable.  Please remember to stay safe!

We are still working on the grounds project.  We have the scale drawing of the outside space finalised, and we will be working on fitting in our proposed new facilities in the coming weeks.

We have started to collect the active kids vouchers from Sainsburys.  The box is in the office ready to receive your donated vouchers.

Have a good half term
