School Council Update 22/05/2015

In front of the whole school, including staff, we delivered our ideas and suggestions in regards to the grounds project.  All was received with great enthusiasm.

Following this, a number of our school councillors met with the staff were we discussed if and how the project can be carried forward.  The staff seemed very keen to get this project off the ground and agree with us that this could be a huge benefit to our learning within our great school.

Our next step is to present our findings to the PTA who have already given us the financial backing needed for this project.

As well as this, next half term will see the return of Ultimate Dodge ball!  A hugely successful venture last year that we have brought back to help raise funds towards the grounds project.  Sainsburys have now ended their voucher scheme and we will be counting and spending them very soon.

Enjoy the half term break

Many thanks for your support this half term

school council update 15 / 05/15

The big day is fast approaching.  We will be revealing our plans for the outdoor learning space next Thursday during a special School Council Assembly. All pupils and staff have been invited to see our exciting ideas.  Following the assembly, a number of school council members will be attending a staff meeting to receive feedback from the staff.  We will be discussing our options in terms of how and if we can carry these ideas through.

We look forward to posting our results next week.

Many thanks

School Council Update 1/05/2015

This week we have been continuing work on the grounds project. We have been struggling to fit all of the various facilities into our chosen area.

In School Council assembly we discussed our fundraising options for after half term. Options raised are a cake sale, ultimate dodge ball, dress up day, sponsored event and a bring and buy sale. Next week we will be making a final decision and voting on which event that we can carry forward.

Keep your ideas coming in to School Council
