We are very lucky to have Chris Holland coming into school to lead some outdoor learning with our class 3 children. They have been having a great time, each Thursday afternoon, carrying out tasks which make them think deeply about our local landscapes. Last week the children were creating ‘landscape pizzas’ and this week they have been creating landscapes which have been affected by human intervention. The children forage for natural resources and also create clay animals and features to add to their designs. We will be seeing Chris again in a couple of weeks to lead the final session of our outdoor learning project.
