We celebrated the launch of Brit Tim Peake on Tuesday 15th December. He is the first British astronaut to visit the ISS (International Space Station) and the whole event was witnessed live on the BBC website by our children. The children loved talking about space exploration, potential jobs and the whole expedition; which we have been following for a while now. In class 3 we made rocket biscuits, paper rockets and designed meals for Tim Peake during his six month visit to the ISS. We also have some rocket seeds with Tim at the moment, which will be returning to Earth in June, which we will then plant and continue with the scientific experiment started in space.
