National Marine Aquarium

What a fantastic day!

Our tour guide commented on how polite and good at listening the children were and I couldn’t help but agree, we are very proud of them. They also did a great job of showing off all they’d learnt about habitats, food chains and camouflage and were able to build on this knowledge and experience first hand the different ‘Under the Sea’ habitats.  We also learnt that the staff at the aquarium work hard to train their animals not to eat the other animals in their tanks, that would normally be their prey in the wild!  I think it’s safe to say that adults and children alike were enthralled and fascinated!  Many thanks to the parent/grandparent helpers and to the fantastic team of staff at Bishops Nympton Primary School who made the day possible!
