It doesn’t take much of the white stuff to send the children in to a frenzy. Who can resist popping out for a bit of frozen fun?

We were lucky enough to have a visit from the fire service. The children learnt about different types of hazards in everyday life and how to keep themselves safe. They had fun practising stop, drop and role.

And in the words of the song…Merry Christmas, Everyone.

A huge well done to all of our lovely children. Each performance was well attended. Thank you all very much for your support and audience participation- it meant a great deal.

Class 2 had a wonderful time today. It truly was a day of simple pleasures, which the children embraced with an adventurous spirit. Den building was definitely the highlight.

Many thanks to everyone for a wonderful exhibition; the staff were blown away by the entries. The children’s images touched a diverse range of science concepts. We had an amazing turn out, helped along by our super PTA and a visit from Dogs helping Kids. What a lovely way to end the half term. Competition winners will be revealed , after half term. Have a peaceful and relaxing break and see you all in a week. Mrs F

As part of our topic ‘Wonder Me’, we invited a parent in to school to talk about her job as a physiotherapist. Accompanying her was a very special guest: Fred. Together they helped the children to understand, first-hand, the structure of the body, how muscles work and what we need to do to look after them. Thank you so much. The children had a fantastic time.

Thank you very much to all of the many families, who joined us in our harvest celebrations this week. And thank you to our wonderful children, whose performance I was immensely proud of. There was a lovely sense of community, as we all gathered together on a beautiful (most-unlike-Autumn) day. I look forward to seeing you in the coming weeks, as we head towards Christmas, when I am sure we will be treated to more singing delights.
