Last night we held our first christmas carol extravaganza at St Marys the virgin church. It was an extremely well attended event which saw a variety of performances from the children such as keyboard solos; a clarinet duo and a recorder trio; whole class percussion and songs; a short play from CL3; songs from the choir and whole school carols and christmas songs. The children had a wonderful time and we received numerous comments from very happy parents.

We would also like to thank our hard working PTA who provided our children with food before the event and then ran the christmas fair in the school hall after the concert. We appreciate all their hard work and would like to wish them all a very happy christmas. They have been particularly successful this term and always work hard to raise funds to help improve the school and provide for the children.

Thank you to all who attended our concert last night and from all the staff at Bishops Nympton we would like to wish you a very merry christmas and a prosperous new year.

Also, a huge well done to our term achievers. Keep up the good work.
